It is never too early to start planning for our next great Dynamite Chili Cookoff and we want to be sure to include you and your company in all of the activities this year. Your sponsorship in the past has been vital to the success of the Cookoff and enabled us to help fund Woodland Chamber Tourism projects and community youth programs.
This year's Eleventh Annual Dynamite Chili Cookoff on Saturday, September 20 will be the biggest and best ever. We are already receiving inquiries from chili cooking teams throughout the western United States area as well as in Woodland and Yolo County.
Last year's event drew more than 50 teams and brought some 6,000 spectators to the Yolo County Fairgrounds on the day of the cookoff.
The event has become one of the most popular community gatherings of the year in Woodland and we are hoping that you will again be involved in making it happen. Live entertainment is performed throughout the day.
In addition to the exposure the sponsorship has at the local level, the posters, T-shirts and publicity for the Cookoff are distributed at more than a dozen state, regional and district International Chili Society cookoffs throughout the year. Please note in the event the cook-off would need to be canceled due to bad inclement weather there will be no refunds as your sponsorship is primarily for advertising which has been done all prior to the actual day of the event.
